Funny things my kid said.

My child is now 26 months old and I have yet to do his two-year-old Watch Me Grow update and letter.
Sigh.
I'm a terrible mother.
I'll eventually get to it, but not today.

Today, I'm writing down the funny things Carson has said recently.
So we can show him one day and laugh together.

The two-year-old milestone brings a lot of repetition, questions, adding possession to verbs and nouns and realizing of emotion.
It's been so fun to watch him listen, think and learn, and then communicate in his own way.

Let me tell you, two-year-olds say really funny things.
I think I've waited for this stage forever.
Kids are just too darn funny.

{When driving to school as we pass some horses}
Carson: Horseys! Horseys walking. Horseys eat grass.
Me: Yep, horses eat grass.
Carson: Ewwww. Horses eat grass. Yucky!

{As we are eating dinner at the dinner table}
Carson: Girls bras. Boys no bras.

{After seeing his teacher, Heather, with some apple juice in a cup}
Carson: Beer. Hedder drink beer.

{After Brian burps}
Carson: Scuse you daddy.

{When hearing a baby cry in the grocery store}
Carson: Baby crying. Baby sad.

{While getting his diaper changed}
Me: Whew...poopy boy!
Carson: Carson go poop. Mommy go poop.

{After Gammy puts her feet up on the living room ottoman}
Carson: No No. No shoes furn-ture!

{After a fun trip to the park with his friend Layne and her mom Tara}
Carson: I like Layney. Layney nice. Tara nice. Carson nice.

{When seeing Daddy get out of bed one morning}
Carson: Daddy, nakey boy!

Me: Carson, what's your full name?
Carson: Carson...Carson Louis Kutter
Me: Good job! What about Daddy's?
Carson: Daddy Louis Kutter
Me: No, with his first name.
Carson: Daddy...Brian Louis Kutter...Mommy Louis Kutter

{While at the park}
Carson: Mommy, I poopy boy.

{One evening while I was talking to Brian and I wasn't in the happiest mood}
Carson: Mommy grumpy girl.

Me: Let's put your hat on. It's really cold outside.
Carson: Cold. Freezing!

Carson: Scuse me. I tooted.

{After throwing up some of his dinner in the bathtub after drinking too much water from the running faucet...I know gross, but he thinks it's cool to "taste" the water while it's running}
Carson: (Scared look on his face as he stares at his food in the water) Get out mommy.
Me: It's ok honey. You just threw up from drinking too much water. We'll clean it up.
Me: I fro up. Food go down drain.

Carson: Build towers.
Me: You want to go build towers?
Carson: Yeah, big, big daddy tower!

Carson: Bubbles!
Me: Oh, you want to blow bubbles?
Carson: Yeah, big, big daddy bubbles!
