The Kutter Gang

One gal, two boys and a reject hunting dog.

We are an ordinary family with a story to tell.

Krista {oh hey, that's me}
You’ll quickly realize I take too many pictures of my kid. I would love to quit my job and learn more about photography, but for now, I’ll continue being a wannabe. I used to find joy in cooking, but the little booger who now plays at my ankles put that on hold. I also used to be a total TV junkie, but said ankle player affected that too. It's ok though, because I needed to cut out several Real Housewives of {insert any city here}. I can be crafty when I want to be, but my real passion is layout and design, which is a huge part of my day job. I sometimes joke that I’ll start my own business designing invitations, art prints and paper embellishments someday. I love party planning. Check out the parties and diy projects I've posted.

Brian
Any guy who will put up with me deserves a medal. He’s more patient than I’ll ever be and is a big sap when it comes to his son, which is so cute. He’s clean cut and somewhat preppy, but can be a plumber, electrician and all-around handy man any day of the week. He’s the mathematician in the house and will help Carson with his homework someday. He makes fun of me for still using my fingers. Oh, and he wears spandex. Jealous? I thought so.

Carson
My sweet boy. Big Boy as we call him. Because he was 9.5 pounds at birth. The one who steals all the attention from the reject dog. He’s a happy, crazy toddler, who makes us smile and laugh every single day. I'm so lucky to be his mom. He’s changed our lives and made us better people. I would say I’m just like any other mom…cherishing every snuggle, grin, giggle or touch he will give, but that’s not true. Because all mom’s don’t love their kids unconditionally. And that’s just sad. I know he’ll read this blog someday and be embarrassed about the stuff I wrote. But I’m ok with that. Because I want to remember how I felt at these milestones, and tell him about it, and show him just how much I love him.

Read about his birth story. Watch him grow here.

Jake
Jake is our fur baby. He also goes by Jakey Doo or dumb dog. He used to get all the attention until you know who came around. He also went to bird dog school three times and failed. So that’s why he’s ours today. A reject hunting dog turned city dog. He has his downfalls, and is the neediest dog I have ever known, but really is an obedient son. He specializes in laziness, slobbering, barking at commercials, finding mud, letting himself into neighbors’ houses, biting sprinkler heads and hanging out car windows. You can take him on a walk without a leash because he's awesome like that. He’s loyal and lovable, and that’s just what our family needs.
