Thankful

Turkey thawing, check. Clean house, check. Outside Christmas lights up, check. Basement painted, check check check. Even Jake got a bath today.

What a productive Thanksgiving day to finish up things around the house before our family feast Saturday. The first Thanksgiving hosting by the Kutters in KC.

I have much to be thankful for.

My husband, family, Jakey boy, friends, health, great jobs, freedom, and love in my heart. Truly blessed.

And some less obvious answers to this question? A heated home in this frigid weather, pumpkin lattes, vino, holiday spirit, the ability to give back, my education, sunshine, forgiveness, good music, inspiring people, dreams, clean sheets, and watching your husband sleep after a hard days work.

We are really looking forward to our family arriving tomorrow, and our first Thanksgiving as hosts. Wish us luck! We probably need it:)
