Chick Flicks

So, Brian was in Colorado over the weekend for a bachelor party, so I decided to get two of the chick flicks that have been in our Netflix cart for awhile.

First of all, I'm a sucker for chick movies. I always have been. I think I get it from my momma. You know, the ones that make you consume an entire box of Kleenex and make you feel like a total baby for crying the whole time? Well that's me. I just can't help it.

Well, Brian can be a very good sport at times, but here lately, our Netflix movies have consisted of action packed, shoot em' up, hard to understand movies. He hates watching movies with me because I ask so many questions:) We did rent My Sister's Keeper recently and I bawled like a baby. Brian didn't say whether he liked it or not. Go figure.

So, some of the chick flicks I had to choose from in our cart were: Julie&Julia, Time Traveler's Wife and Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2. Seriously, I'm not joking about the last one. LOL. The first one was really cute:).

I chose Time Traveler's Wife and Julie&Julia. Both were good, but a little slow. Although Julie&Julia was a little on the different side, it made me appreciate it because of the whole blogging thing:) It also made me realize that my blog is a hodge podge of a bunch of random crap and doesn't really have any direction at all. Maybe one of these days I can take on a challenge like Julie did, and see if I can accomplish it. Wait...who am I kidding? I see lots of things in my life as challenging, and sticking to just one thing would be boring.

Brian made it back from Colorado in one piece. No broken bones this time. I am so glad to have him back so he can deal with Jake's muddy feet and not me!! HA!
