Get to Know Me from A to Z

We're halfway through the week and it's time to digress. Just a wee bit.

I snagged this idea from the awesome Lauren over at Climbing Grier Mountain. Just something light, fun and required minimal thinking.

A. Age: Just turned 27 two weeks ago. Ugh.

B. Bed size: King! The only size anyone should own. I used to not feel so strongly about this subject until the Mr. and I moved into together and I gained the love of my life, spread out all you want King bed. Complete. Awesomeness. Seriously, make the switch and you will never go back to a queen.

C. Chore you dislike: Making the bed, hand washing colanders and folding fitted sheets. I usually wash the sheets from the bed and replace, just to avoid from folding them.

D. Dogs: Jake. Nickames: Jakey Doo, Retard, dumb dog. Occupation: Reject hunting dog. Daily Activities: Laziness. Barking at commercials and non-out of the ordinary noises. Breaking neighbor's fences. Biting sprinkler heads.

E. Essential start to your day: First, complete silence because I AM NOT a morning person. Don't talk to me if you don't want to get your head bitten off. Second, coffee.

F. Favorite color: In general: blue. To wear: black and white, grey or purple. I like to make a bold statement with my wardrobe.

G. Gold or silver: Silver. Although I do own some gold costume jewelry that I am quite in love with.

H. Height: 5'6" - just average.

I. Instruments you play(ed): Play? Um, none. Played? I tried the piano when I was a kid and still kick myself for not sticking with it. Does 'Hot Cross Buns' on the recorder in 3rd grade classify as an instrument I used to play?

J. Job title: Title Schmitle. I hate titles. They're stupid. But if I must: Marketing Coordinator.

K. Kids: Currently only my fur baby.

L. Live: Boomingtropolis away from southern Johnson County, otherwise known as Western Shawnee, KS. We have a Tanners!

M. Mom’s name: Jana or Momma B.

N. Nicknames: Nothing too original. KK, Biddle, Lil Biddle

O. Overnight hospital stays: Three different times, all for surgery. In the sixth grade, I was badly burned by a three-wheeler and had to have a skin graph. The second time was a second surgery to the same injury. The third, appendicitis on Thanksgiving my freshman year of college.

P. Pet peeves: The water spots my husband creates on the bathroom vanity/sink and does not clean up, putting pans in the dishwasher, people who aren't positive or enjoyable to work with, and grammar usage in emails and FB posts (example: Your cute.).

R. Righty or lefty: Righty. But my left hand is prettier. My fingers are slightly smaller and my nails always grow way longer on the left hand.

S. Siblings: Ryan, two years older. Lynndy & Scott, half sister and brother from my dad's previous marriage.

T. Time you wake up: Weekdays - 6:45am, Weekends - 8:30am, but entirely depends on the shenanigans that occurred the night before.

U. Underwear: Thongs. Occasionally boy shorts at night.

V. Vegetables you dont’ like: None that I can think of. I love my veggies! Had a wonderful vegetarian plate for lunch today (Ash Wednesday).

W. What makes you run late: Trying to decide what to wear. What a girly answer.

X. X-rays you’ve had: Way too many as of lately! Fractured wrist in the 3rd grade, Neck X-ray (2008), Shin X-ray (2010), CT Scan (2011).

Y. Yummy food you make: Check out some of my recipes in my 'In the Kitchen' section. My faves are desserts because I am a sweets addict. Really going to miss them for the next 6 weeks, gave them up for Lent.

Z. Zoo animal favorites: I don't know...the chimpanzees. I liked them as a kid. Wait, I change my mind. The giraffes because my in-laws have a giraffe neck/head mounted to the wall that extends up into the vaulted ceilings. No lie.
